About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Human Resources to take on a dynamic and well-rounded role with true ownership of the HR function. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to executive leadership, managing day-to-day people operations, and will be responsible for modernizing and shaping people programs. This hands-on position is ideal for an HR professional who can balance strategy with execution, and who is comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for employee needs, managing benefits administration, overseeing leave of absence processes, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. The role also involves providing guidance on employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and partnering with executive leadership on compensation strategy.
The Head of HR will be a self-starter with deep experience in compensation, employee relations, and HR systems. Strong working knowledge of payroll and compliance, particularly in a multi-state environment, is essential. The role requires a leader with sound judgment, high emotional intelligence, and the ability to navigate different personalities. Experience in HRIS implementations and exposure to publicly traded environments are nice to have but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, capable HR leader who is passionate about building and executing HR strategies that have a real impact on the organization.
