About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Human Resources to take on a dynamic and well-rounded role with true ownership of the HR function. The successful candidate will be a hands-on HR leader, serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and managing day-to-day people operations. This highly visible position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution, modernizing processes, and being the go-to resource for employees and leaders alike. Responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for employee needs, managing benefits administration, overseeing leave of absence processes, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. The role also involves providing guidance on employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and partnering with executive leadership on compensation strategy.

The ideal candidate for the VP of HR role at the company will have deep experience in compensation, employee relations, and HR systems, with a strong working knowledge of payroll and compliance. They should be a self-starter with the ability to operate independently, possess sound judgment, and have high emotional intelligence to navigate different personalities. While not mandatory, experience with HRIS implementations and exposure to publicly traded environments are considered advantageous. The role requires a leader who is capable of running efficient recruiting processes, acting as a thought partner on talent planning, and actively shaping the company culture through engagement and communication. The VP of HR will also be involved in philanthropic and community initiatives through the company's foundation, including nonprofit partnerships and employee volunteer programs.
