About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, General Partner Accounting to lead the accounting operations for its General Partner entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance and precision in financial reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize accounting workflows, and driving strategic initiatives to refine accounting policies, controls, and reporting standards. Key duties include overseeing financial close processes, maintaining general ledgers, preparing financial statements, and supporting tax reporting and audits. The role also involves contributing to the development of carried interest calculations and economic metrics, and engaging in a hybrid work environment to balance remote and on-site collaboration.

Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting or a related field, with advanced degrees preferred, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in partnership accounting. Proficiency in GAAP-based reporting, strong skills in calculating carried interest and economic metrics, and exceptional collaboration skills with Tax, Legal, and Operations teams are essential. The role requires experience in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives within accounting operations, as well as the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and judgment in financial reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
