About the Role
The Company is in need of an Interim Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide high-level oversight of nursing operations within a 25-bed facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of approximately 250+ FTEs, ensuring that all departments are adequately staffed to meet patient care standards. This role also involves working closely with senior leadership to guarantee that ancillary services are in line with the company's patient care standards. The ideal Interim CNO will be a strong, visible, and compassionate leader with a robust operational nursing background, technical proficiency, and a proven track record in change management and relationship building.
Applicants for the Interim CNO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree, an active RN license, and a background that includes experience with unions and in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting. The role requires a leader who is focused on accountability, can develop and implement action plans, and is dedicated to driving results. The Interim CNO will be expected to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance and must be adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
