About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Projects to lead the successful execution of multiple commercial improvement initiatives, with a focus on hands-on account execution and delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation of active projects, ensuring they are well-coordinated, financially sound, and completed to a high standard. This senior role involves providing day-to-day leadership and coaching to a team of project management professionals, optimizing project workflows, and maintaining financial oversight. The VP, Projects will also play a key role in supporting the team through clear direction and decision-making, as well as contributing to account growth by participating in client-facing discussions and identifying opportunities for expanded services.
Applicants for the VP, Projects position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' project management experience, with a strong background in running project accounts and a proven track record of leadership in managing project managers. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or architecture is required, with a preference for candidates holding additional certifications such as PMP, LEED, or Six Sigma. The role demands a candidate with strong financial acumen, particularly in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and a background in tenant improvement refresh projects.
