About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide executive leadership for nursing and patient care services across its healthcare system. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading nursing operations in multiple facilities, driving strategic initiatives to enhance nursing performance, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and clinical excellence. This role involves close collaboration with executive leadership to implement effective nursing practices, oversee staff development, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key responsibilities for the CNO include developing and executing strategic plans to improve clinical quality and operational efficiency, assessing and evaluating nursing practices, and maintaining accountability for staff competency and resource management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), an active RN license, and a minimum of 8 years of progressive management experience in nursing leadership. A postgraduate degree is preferred, and the candidate should have a proven track record in leading nursing operations, particularly in transitional or challenging environments. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, exceptional interpersonal skills, and experience in cost control and resource management are also essential for this role.
