About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive leadership team. The COO will be a key driver of operational excellence, strategic execution, and organizational alignment, with a focus on delivering projects efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. This role involves close collaboration with the executive team to translate strategic vision into scalable processes, sustainable growth, and measurable business outcomes. The successful candidate will provide leadership across all operational functions, ensure the development and implementation of scalable operational strategies, and drive accountability through performance metrics and key operational KPIs.

Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 20 years' progressive experience in construction project management or operations leadership, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role. A deep understanding of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices is essential. The role requires a proven ability to lead complex organizations, strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, as well as exceptional leadership and organizational skills. The COO will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and operational excellence, and must have a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing leadership teams. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is required, and experience with construction management software, scheduling tools, and construction accounting systems is a plus.
