Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time role will have you collaborating closely with students, staff, and families to foster communication growth and academic success on-site. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in serving PreK students and a willingness to serve for at least one full academic year. While bilingual Spanish skills are highly valued to best support the diverse community, strong monolingual applicants are also encouraged to embrace this challenge. Required Qualifications & Experience:Master’s degree in Speech-Language PathologyCurrent Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) statusValid Certificate of Clearance (COC)Comfortable working onsite for the full school yearExperience with school-based caseloads and SEIS documentationFamiliarity with CA Medicaid (Paradigm) procedures is preferredItinerant flexibility for travel between sites may be neededBilingual Spanish proficiency is strongly desiredFamiliarity with mild-to-moderate and some severe student needs, including AAC devices Primary Responsibilities:Assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disordersCollaborate with educators and families to develop and implement IEP goalsMaintain accurate records and documentation; use SEIS as requiredProvide therapy, support AAC use, and monitor student progressParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendationsTravel as needed between district sites In this dynamic role, you’ll contribute to a community focused on student communication and growth, working alongside passionate professionals.
