Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. The assignment requires 37.5 hours per week (Monday through Friday) and extends across the entire new school year. Qualifications:Must hold an active Mississippi SLP license Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Prior experience in a school setting is strongly preferred Aptitude for working with children and adolescents across a diverse age range Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to assess and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students in Pre-K through 12th grade Conduct assessments, develop therapy goals, and document student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service personnel to create supportive learning environments Participate in IEP meetings and student evaluations Maintain accurate records and write required reports Adapt therapies to meet the varied needs of students throughout the school year
