Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding contract opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) eager to make a lasting impact in an educational setting. You’ll support students from pre-K through 12th grade (primarily K-5), providing high-quality speech therapy across three diverse school sites, including Headstart programs and private school students. This full-time position (37.5 hours/week, 5 days/week) spans the academic year and offers meaningful collaboration with educational teams. Key Qualifications:Valid NC SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Ability to complete a DHHS Pre-K background check Experience working with diverse student populations across a range of agesStrong organizational skills and documentation proficiencyUnderstanding of IEP development, case management, and facilitation Responsibilities:Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to a caseload of 40-50 students Document progress and session notes in ECATSDevelop required IEP paperwork, including present levels, goals, service times; serve as case manager as needed Organize and facilitate IEP meetings for students whose only area of eligibility is Speech ImpairmentCollaborate with multidisciplinary staff across three school sites to support student successMaintain rigorous compliance and timely communication with all required documentation This is an ideal role for an SLP seeking to broaden their clinical expertise in a vibrant school-based environment.
