Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A unique opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 students. This contract role spans from September 1, 2026, to June 23, 2027, with onsite responsibilities in the Tacoma and Puyallup, WA, area. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, collaborating closely with educators, students, and families. Desired Qualifications:Valid Washington State Speech Language Pathology licenseCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) requiredMust be fingerprinted through OSPIHold or be willing to obtain the Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credentialPrior experience or strong interest in working within school settingsCompetence working with diverse student populations across K–12 gradesAbility to adapt communication strategies to fit individual student needs Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with IEP goalsAssess, diagnose, and develop intervention strategies for speech, language, and communication disordersCollaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure supportive learning environmentsDocument progress, maintain compliance with state and district regulations, and manage confidential student recordsParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision makingHelp foster student confidence and communication skills in both academic and social settings Benefits:Gain valuable experience within supportive educational communitiesOpportunity to make a positive impact on students’ lives throughout the school yearWork a consistent weekday schedule that supports work-life balance If you meet the required licensure and credentials and have a passion for supporting student growth, this is an excellent chance to thrive in a collaborative, onsite school environment.
