We are seeking a hands-on Manager with a strong background
Accounting, managing and reviewing activities related to month-end close, accounts receivable, billing, credit and collections, cash application and maintaining accurate customer records.
The ideal candidate should also have a process improvement mindset.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the monthly close cycle across all locations.
Preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards like Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Managing and reviewing activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, credit and collections, cash applications, and maintaining accurate customer records.
Supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting staff involved in customer-related tasks, providing guidance and support on complex issues.
Identifying and implementing strategies to streamline financial workflows, enhance efficiency, and improve overall customer service delivery.
Develop ad hoc reports using advanced Excel techniques, Google Sheets, and/or Power BI etc.
Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, finance, tax, and operations teams to optimize accounting processes.
Ensure compliance with GAAP
Requirements:
4 year degree in Accounting
4+ years experience with GL Accounting
