
Accounting Supervisor (Torrance)

Overview
CAM Property Services is hiring a
hands-on Accounting Supervisor
to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting operations.
This is not a review-only or junior bookkeeping role.
This role is responsible for
executing and controlling core accounting transactions , including AP, ACH payments, and cash activity, while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and month-end close.
You will work directly with our external accounting advisory firm and serve as the
internal owner of accounting execution, accuracy, and discipline .
Key Responsibilities
Own the
general ledger (QuickBooks)
Execute and manage
month-end close
Prepare and post
journal entries, accruals, and reclasses
Perform and complete
bank & credit card reconciliations
Execute
accounts payable processing , including:
Invoice review, coding, and entry
ACH and check payments
Manage
cash activity , including:
Recording and reconciling deposits
Ensuring proper application of receipts
Ensure accurate
revenue and expense classification
Monitor and resolve
aging, discrepancies, and coding issues
Maintain
tight controls over cash disbursements and inflows
Coordinate with external advisors on:
Monthly close review -- Aspire
Quickbooks
Adjustments and reporting
Support leadership with
accurate, timely financial data
Requirements
7+ years of accounting / bookkeeping experience
Advanced
QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
Proven experience:
Owning the
general ledger
Running
month-end close
Executing
full-cycle AP
Handling
cash, ACH, and bank transactions
Performing
reconciliations end-to-end
Strong understanding of
internal controls around cash and disbursements
High attention to detail and accountability
Preferred
Experience in
property services, construction, or field services
Experience with
Aspire (CRM)
a ServiceTitan company
Exposure to
job costing or class tracking
Strong Excel skills
Experience working alongside external CPAs or advisors
Work Structure
Open to
Part-Time or Full-Time
Part-Time: 20–30 hours/week
Hybrid (Torrance preferred; some flexibility)
Compensation
$80,000 – $105,000 (full-time equivalent)
Part-time is
prorated based on hours worked
Approx.
$40–$60/hour equivalent
