About the Opportunity
The Accountant I will support general accounting functions for assigned entities, with a focus on general ledger activity, month‑end close, and collaboration with operations. This role offers strong exposure to plant accounting and project‑based work with opportunity for growth.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Up to $75,000.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general ledger accounting and support month-end close
Prepare journal entries, including accruals and reclasses
Complete bank and account reconciliations
Track assets, including additions, transfers, and disposals
Partner with operations to monitor project costs and cost centers
Assist with project billings and financial tracking
Support audits and respond to information requests
Help improve accounting processes and workflows
Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
1–2+ years of accounting experience (audit or industry)
Experience with general ledger and month-end close (not just AP/AR)
ERP experience required; SAP strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work cross‑functionally with operations
Strong analytical and communication skills
