Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging contract opportunity serving PreK-12 students near Cambridge, MA this summer. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners’ lives during an extended school year session. From July 6 through August 7, you’ll enjoy a flexible, part-time schedule of two days per week, working 13 hours weekly, with the benefit of a manageable caseload. Key Qualifications: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Massachusetts Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) credential Previous experience working in pediatric, educational, or healthcare SLP settings Comfort supporting PreK-12 students with diverse communication needs Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
What You’ll Do: Assess and identify communication disorders within a school-based population Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school standards Adapt therapy techniques for a variety of age groups and learning profiles Deliver compassionate support that fosters students’ academic and social growth
This summer position is ideal for SLPs seeking a concentrated, high-impact role in a collaborative setting. Compensation for this assignment ranges from $45 to $50 per hour, paid weekly.
