Job Summary

As a

Patient Services Supervisor , you will assist in the successful daily operations and customer service functions of the Food & Nutrition Services Department within a healthcare setting. This role is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, service-oriented professional seeking an entry point into foodservice leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring patient satisfaction, supporting meal service operations, and collaborating with clinical and foodservice teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure patient and client satisfaction by meeting and exceeding service expectations
Provide approved menu alternatives in accordance with prescribed diets, food allergies, sensitivities, and cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences
Interact daily with nursing staff to evaluate patient meal selection, tray accuracy, delivery, and retrieval processes
Respond promptly to patient concerns or complaints and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate
Assist with overall foodservice operations, with a strong focus on patient meal assembly and delivery
Support quality improvement initiatives, sanitation practices, infection control protocols, and facility standards
Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals
Qualifications

Minimum of

two (2) years of foodservice experience
Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, or related foodservice environments
Working knowledge of foodservice trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost control, and presentation
Demonstrated supervisory, leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with management, clients, patients, and associates
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet applications
ServSafe® certification

Minimum education requirement:

High School Diploma or GED
