About the Role
We are seeking a
Cloud Systems Architect
to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, capable of guiding cloud adoption, ensuring system reliability, and driving innovation across engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud architectures across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to define cloud strategy and roadmap
Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new cloud technologies and tools to optimize performance, security, and cost
Ensure system security, reliability, and compliance with industry best practices
Lead cloud migration initiatives, including assessing existing systems and developing modernization strategies
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud architecture and best practices
Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve cloud performance and efficiency
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering
Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, design, or infrastructure engineering
Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong knowledge of networking, security, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions
Preferred:
Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or Google Cloud Professional)
Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, IoT, or large-scale data processing systems
Clearance Required:
TS/SCI w/ poly
