Technical Targeter (Active TS/SCI Required)
Full-Time in Chantilly/McLean, VA - Mid Level
We are seeking a Technical Targeter to join our growing team. In this role, you will combine technical acumen with analytical insight to identify, assess, and exploit data and systems in support of strategic operational objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in technology, data analysis, and systems engineering — and the ability to translate complex data into actionable intelligence.
Applicants must have an Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Access (TS/SCI)
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research, analysis, and technical assessments to identify and develop high-value targets across multiple domains
Leverage data from diverse technical sources — including networks, sensors, and digital systems — to inform targeting strategies
Collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and operations teams to develop and integrate technical capabilities into broader mission frameworks
Identify and exploit technical vulnerabilities or opportunities in hardware, software, and network systems
Apply tools and techniques for data collection, visualization, and pattern analysis to support operational decision-making
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, cyber capabilities, and adversarial tactics to refine targeting methodologies
Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with legal, ethical, and security standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical, analytical, or intelligence role
Strong understanding of networking, system architectures, and data analysis tools
Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Bash)
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear, actionable insights
Experience in signals intelligence (SIGINT), cyber operations, or related targeting roles
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, data exploitation, or AI/ML-based analysis
Knowledge of geospatial tools, open-source intelligence (OSINT), or big data platforms
