high-impact Electrical Engineer specializing in Cables & Interconnects .
This is a
precision-critical role
where your work directly influences system performance, reliability, and hardware integrity.

This is
physical systems engineering -designing and optimizing the
cable and interconnect architecture that powers complex electronic and flight hardware systems .
Engineers in this role:
Own
system-level interconnect design
Influence
performance, safety, and testability
Work in environments where

What You'll Do:
Design and develop
cable harness assemblies
for complex electronic systems
Create and maintain
interconnect diagrams
for flight hardware and support systems
Apply
electrical engineering fundamentals
to circuit and system design
Evaluate
design changes and downstream system impact
Ensure excellence across
fabrication, testing, and documentation
Maintain
high-accuracy engineering documentation and traceability
What You Bring:
Experience in
cable harness design, interconnect systems, or wiring for complex hardware
Proficiency with
Capital Harness, Xpedition, or similar tools
Understanding of
DC power distribution
Experience with
engineering prints and documentation standards
Exposure to
cable fabrication/testing (DITMCO is a plus)
Strong attention to detail and
systems-thinking mindset
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
OR
equivalent hands-on experience
2-5+ years of relevant experience
Work Structure & Benefits:
Onsite in Orlando, FL
9/80 schedule
(every other Friday off)
