Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a

Lab Admin Assistant

to join our team at

Reproductive Science Center of the Bay Area

in

Menlo Park, California and San Ramon, California.
Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Compensation:

$26 to $30 Hourly (commensurate with experience).

In this role, the

Lab Admin Assistant will:

Assist with the completion of daily paperwork for IVF procedures.
Collaborate with the physician of the day to organize operating room (OR) schedule, ensuring that procedures are efficiently planned and appropriately staffed.
Support senior embryologists in receiving, documenting, and shipping cryopreserved specimens (eggs, embryos, and sperm) to and from external facilities as required.
Facilitate the process of sending consents to patients and ensure all forms and patient data are accurately input into the lab's system, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory standards.
Assist in the proper completion of discard processes for specimens according to established lab protocols, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
Communicate with patients in person, via phone, and email to create a strong relationship as this position will both advocate and represent the lab and its members to other departments as well.
Perform other administrative duties as needed to ensure the lab operates smoothly, including organizing supplies, maintaining records, and assisting with communication between the lab and other departments.
Helps to establish and maintain an organized documents management system for ready access and retrieval of current and archived records and forms. Able to organize various types of records into correct categories.

Qualifications and Skills Include:

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a medical or laboratory setting.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks effectively.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work collaboratively with medical and technical staff in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Background in Health Administration preferred.
