Warehouse Coordinator (Second)
Department: Operations / Warehouse
Reports To: Logistics Manager
Location: Whitsett, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: - (2nd Shift 10% Differential)
Position Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations with a balanced focus on both inbound (receiving) and outbound (shipping) activities. This role ensures efficient workflow, accurate inventory management, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining compliance with safety and company standards.
Total of 4 (2 for 1st and 2 for 2nd) Openings are available for both First Shift and Second Shift, with consistent responsibilities across shifts to ensure operational continuity.
Shift Schedules
Second Shift: Typically 3: 00 PM 11: 30 PM or 3: 30 to 12: 00midnight
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate inbound shipments, including scheduling, receiving, and inspection of goods
Oversee outbound operations, including picking, packing, and shipping orders
Ensure accuracy of all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions
Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts and system updates
Assign and monitor daily tasks for warehouse associates
Track workflow efficiency and address bottlenecks in operations
Communicate effectively with internal departments (logistics, customer service, purchasing)
Enforce safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
Support cross-shift communication to ensure seamless handoffs
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required;Associate degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
Experience with warehouse management systems SAP preferred
Demonstrated ability to coordinate or lead team activities
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.G., Microsoft Office)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
Work Environment
