KDB+/Q developer for a global PS firm

A global specialized solutions provider is expanding its U.S. presence and seeking a KDB+/Q Developer

to join as a growth hire . You’ll work on high-frequency, low-latency trading and analytics applications , supporting some of the world’s most data-intensive financial environments.
What You’ll Do:

Design and develop performant applications using KDB+ and Q
Build and optimize low-latency, high-throughput systems for real-time analytics
Collaborate with clients in a hands-on, client-facing capacity
Contribute to projects focused on user analytics , data surveillance , and tick-level data processing
Document and communicate solutions clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:

Strong experience in KDB+ development , with expert-level Q skills
Exposure to capital markets , particularly high-frequency trading or real-time data environments
Background in data analytics or data science is a plus
Familiarity with KDB.ai or contextual search /

generative AI use cases is a major differentiator
Additional skills that will help you stand out:

Big Data ecosystems
Infrastructure knowledge (Java, DevOps, Linux/Unix)
CI/CD pipelines and best practices

Strong communication, organization, and documentation habits
