General Responsibilities:
The Athletics, Section VI Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, digital, and operational support to Section VI Athletics. This position is responsible for supporting the Section's website, social media, branding, broadcast coordination, digital ticketing, and event operations. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient communication, professional presentation, and successful execution of sectional contests and events.
Maintain and support the Section VI website, social media platforms, and digital communication tools to ensure accurate, timely, and accessible information.
Support digital branding initiatives, including online publications, handbooks, directories, and Section communications.
Coordinate broadcast schedules and streaming information in collaboration with approved broadcast partners for sectional contests and championship events.
Assist with external media coordination, including scheduling, credentialing, and compliance with media agreements.
Support digital ticketing and merchandise platforms to ensure efficient sales, distribution, and user experience.
Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of sectional contests, championships, and special events.
Provide logistical and on-site support at athletic events, including evenings and weekends as required.
Maintain operational documentation, calendars, timelines, and data tracking to support Section planning and compliance.
Assist with oversight of software platforms and digital systems used by the Section, ensuring functionality and organization.
