Account/Project Support Specialist II
Job Description Summary
The
Project Support Specialist
works directly with customers, Operations, Purchasing, and Account Managers to ensure customer centric and profitable repeat business for AMECO. Will serve as a liaison between the Customer and Departments within AMECO to ensure the customer's needs are being met as contractually agreed upon while still maintaining healthy margins. This position will always be looking for process improvements and value adds.
Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
High-level oversite of Site Solutions in all stages of the project cycle (Start up, peak, shut down).
Monitor consumable and rental inventory levels to minimize exposure for the customer as well as Ameco.
Keeping the customer informed on their proximity to any thresholds that could be seen as a negative at the end of the job.
Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout the life cycle.
Assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement and increased profitability inside our operation.
Facilitate customer feedback to assess our strengths and identify areas for improvements in our operation.
Collaborate and grow relationships with Operations to facilitate improvements.
Managing and utilizing resources across projects to lower overall cost and increase revenue.
Meeting with account managers and project managers to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues.
Facilitate the quoting phase of new Site Solutions opportunities.
Review and develop accurate on-site job tool, rental, and consumable lists with the customer.
Work directly with the customer and Account Manager on pricing, inventory, and reporting needs for the job.
Manage the program documentation such as the tool and consumable lists, budget tracking for rentals, lien wavers, and reporting methods including delivery of those reports.
Oversee and facilitate invoicing in the manner contractually agreed upon.
Adhere to and support AMECO's Health, Safety and Environmental and Sustainability Policies
Effectively Develop and apply core skills to the job.
May need to travel to attend to business-related matters.
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity.
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties as assigned.
Typical Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills
Accredited two (2) year technical or business degree in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements.
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate skill level) for data analysis, report generation and formulating sales quotes, materials and presentations.
Strong Multitasking, and Problem-Solving skills in a fast-paced environment is a must.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
Knowledgeable in SAP is a plus.
Industrial/Construction tooling knowledge is a plus
