Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Freight Associate to join our team. This role is primarily focused on handling inbound and outbound LTL freight, while also supporting general warehouse operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and values teamwork.

Primary Responsibilities (Freight Processing)
Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling
Receive, verify, and stock inbound LTL freight accurately
Pull, palletize, strap, and wrap outbound freight orders
Process shipments, including generating labels, Bills of Lading, and selecting carriers
Obtain freight quotes and coordinate shipping methods
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized loading dock area
Support additional freight-related tasks as directed by management
Secondary Responsibilities (General Warehouse)

Perform daily stocking and organization throughout the warehouse
Assist with order picking, packing, and checking (parcel and customer pickups)
Support weekly inventory counts and inventory accuracy efforts
Rotate and organize inventory to maintain proper stock flow (FIFO)
Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
Requirements

Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in English
Comfortable learning warehouse and shipping systems
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Commitment to safety and adherence to company procedures
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications

Prior forklift experience (or ability to become certified)
At least 1 year of warehouse or inventory experience
Familiarity with modern warehouse operations
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and move heavier loads with equipment
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the day
Capability to safely operate equipment and remain alert during shifts

Salary Description

$17.00-$19.00 per hour
