About the Role
Position Summary
As a Database Engineer he/she will apply industry accepted design and development practices for perform all the database related changes like database design, normalization, SQL/ PL-SQL using Agile Methodology
Primary Skill-
Oracle SQL / PLSQL
Secondary Skill - MS SQL Server
Tertiary Skill-
Performance Tuning and Capacity Monitoring Engineer
Required Qualifications
• Expert-level proficiency in latest Oracle Database version.
• Proficiency in TOAD and similar tools
• Experience in OEM
• Strong Experience in SQL and PL/ SQL programming
• Proven experience in Database Design and Data modeling (ER Diagram and Normalization)
• Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, memory structure and background processes.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning, including
Query Optimization
Indexing strategies
Use of AWR, ASH and Explain plan, etc.
Desired Qualifications:
Worked in financial domain.
Knowledge of shell scripting, python for automation database tasks.
Familiarity with DevOps practice and tools like Jenkins, GIT and Datical.
Exposure to MS SQL server and Mongodb
Knowledge of data security, encryption and compliance standards
Compensation
Hourly Rate:
60$-65$ per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
