Shipping Coordinator

SHIFT:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (OT as needed)

PAY RATE:

$22.44 - $27.00+ per hour (DOE) + Full Benefit Package

Huron, SD

TrueNorth Steel is now hiring for a Shipping Coordinator position! If you have knowledge and experience with scheduling and communicating with trucking companies for pickup or deliveries, shipping transactions in an ERP system, have excellent organization skills, and are detail-orientated--we want you to apply. The Shipping Coordinator will work with our site operations team in coordinating internal transfer orders and the delivery of products to customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Follow all company safety and quality requirements.
Scheduling and communicating with trucking company for pickup/deliveries.
Providing materials department pick slips for product loading.
Shipping transactions for the product in the ERP system.
Providing accurate packing slips and BOL for the trucking company.
Reporting of any material quality concerns.
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed.
Prompt and dependable attendance.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED required.
One year of related experience.
