Job Description - Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process
for new features, with an eye toward testability
• Build an automated system for the primary application and correcting any errors when
implementing a solution
• Write reports and documentation that explain the implantation and value to project
stakeholders
• Create, test and monitor automation systems
• Partner with developers and business owners to triage and create defects.
• Perform smoke tests to ensure successful releases
• Write detailed and easy to understand bug reports
• Provide consistent communication regarding testing status to both the Engineering and
Business teams
Skills and Competencies/Education:
• Minimum of 5 years of working as a QA automation engineer in Agile working
environment
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience using Java, TestNG, Maven, Appium and Allure frameworks
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential to success
• Ability to clearly document and troubleshoot errors
• Experience with the Agile methodology and regression testing
• Proven ability to create and execute a test plan
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter who can work independently as well as in team environment
• Solid understanding of iOS native features
