Summary of Job Description:
This position supports government operations by providing reliable courier, mailroom, and facilities services. Incumbent is responsible for the secure, timely, and accurate delivery of packages, documents, and other materials to and from the Tribal Community & Government Building. The position is responsible for stocking and tracking applicable inventory. In addition to courier and facilities duties, this position serves as acting EVS Supervisor when directed, overseeing day-to-day EVS operations, ensuring adherence to sanitation, safety, and regulatory standards, and supporting continuity of services.
Minimum Requirements:
Basic keyboarding, Excel and Word skills
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of EVS operations and sanitation protocols
Ability to lead staff during assigned supervisory coverage
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Good organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items as necessary for deliveries
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Ability to work in adverse conditions such as extreme cold and extreme heat, and wetness
High School diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years' experience in courier, shipping & receiving, or a similar position
One (1) year experience as team lead or supervisor
One (1) year experience using a computerized system to organize and maintain records
Valid motor vehicle license from state of residence, with a clean driving record
Training to be required in Universal Precautions and Sanitation protocols, to include appropriate measures in the prevention of cross-contamination
Must complete Biohazard training
Must complete Serve safe training
