SAP FI Consultant - Asset Accounting & WBS

Role Overview :
We are looking for a seasoned SAP FI Consultant specializing in Asset Accounting and Project Systems (WBS) to support S/4HANA implementations and capital project accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead S/4HANA Asset Accounting configuration, including:
• Depreciation areas
• Parallel valuation
• Design and implement FI-PS (WBS) integration for:
• Capital project cost tracking
• Settlement processes
• Manage Assets Under Construction (AuC) lifecycle and capitalization from WBS/internal orders
• Support data migration from legacy systems (e.g., Oracle EBS) to S/4HANA
• Perform reconciliation and ensure data integrity post-migration
• Define and enforce:
• CapEx financial controls
• Depreciation processes
• Statutory reporting requirements
• Collaborate with Finance, Controlling, and Project teams during:
• SIT/UAT
• Cutover activities
• Support go-live, hypercare, and stabilization phases
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of SAP FI experience with strong focus on Asset Accounting
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA implementations
• Strong expertise in WBS / Project Systems integration
• Experience in data migration and reconciliation
• Good understanding of CapEx accounting and financial controls
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Oracle EBS to S/4HANA migration
• Background in Life Sciences/Pharma/MedTech
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
