Rehabilitation Technician
The Rehabilitation Technician is responsible for a variety of patient care tasks under the direction of PTs, PTAs, OTRs, COTAs, and/or SLPs. Responsibilities include cleaning, patient record management, inventory management, and clerical duties. He/she assists other areas of Rehabilitation Services and Wound Center as directed. Other responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor, manager, or director.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
Three to six months (3-6) experience in a position which requires contact with the public
License/Registration/Certifications:
CPR-AHA BLS

Completes all patient care assignments within designated timeframes.
Demonstrates accurate and safe use of equipment (wheelchairs, stretchers, lift equipment, therapy equipment, etc.) during patient set-up and patient treatment/transfers.
Cleans equipment according to departmental policy.
Performs ordering, receiving, and distribution of departmental supplies and timely disposal of expired supplies.
Assists with a variety of clerical tasks as requested, completing each accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensures environment is safe and adheres to quality standards.
Attends departmental and hospital committees and meetings.
Completes other duties as assigned.
