Position Summary The Common Area Attendant maintains all inside and assigned outdoor public areas of the location and interacts with guests in a manner that promotes a positive impression of the staff and property. This position creates a comfortable, clean guest environment, contributing to guest satisfaction and the success of the location. Essential Functions The Common Area Attendant:
Clean and maintain assigned interior and exterior common areas.
Replenish supplies where needed.
Empty trash and maintain public-space cleanliness.
Report maintenance needs promptly.
Communicate with housekeeping or Front Desk regarding cleaning needs.
Other Functions The Common Area Attendant may also:
Perform other duties as needed to ensure smooth property operations and cleanliness.
Assist the housekeeping team as needed.
Use phone to track/monitor room cleans through the location's computer program.
Pre and post-storm preparations.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements Reliable with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently. Education & Experience No formal education requirements. Experience preferred but not required. Knowledge & Skills Understanding of cleaning procedures. Basic communication skills. Excellent customer services skills Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to push/pull carts and equipment. Work Environment Indoor/outdoor work in various weather conditions. Weekend and holiday availability required.
