Logistics Verification Specialist
Location: Savannah, GA 31408 Job Type: Temporary / Full-Time Schedule: MondayFriday, 6:55 AM until completion Availability: Weekday availability required (no weekends) Pay: $17/hour (paid weekly)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Verifier to support daily warehouse operations. In this role, you will ensure shipment accuracy by inspecting, counting, and verifying products against shipping documentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains a high level of accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities
Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
Count and inspect products to ensure alignment with bills of lading, packing slips, and manifests
Identify and report discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or damaged items
Accurately enter and track data using warehouse systems or handheld scanners
Collaborate with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and drivers to resolve issues
Maintain organized records and complete all required documentation
Follow safety guidelines and keep work areas clean and orderly
Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
Availability to work Monday through Friday with a flexible end time
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Basic math and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary
Good communication and time management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Previous experience in inventory control, auditing, or warehouse operations preferred
Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
