Family Medicine team exists of 5 physicians and 2 Advanced Practitioners
Westdale clinic has both Pediatrics and Family Medicine providers, serving the Cedar Rapids Community and surrounding towns south of the metro area
Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic
Onsite X-ray (imaging services), Lab (Medlabs), and outpatient physical and occupational therapy.
Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
Position 1.0 FTE full time, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

No nights or weekends
Shared call amongst the providers. Triaged through MyNurse
Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
General family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.
Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

MD or DO
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)

Day shift: 7:00 am 5:00 pm (average 12 patients per shift)

No direct ICU coverage (physician support available for medical management when needed)

In this role, you will lead and deliver water, wastewater, and groundwater projects in the State of Iowa. This individual will be responsible for the development and management of all aspects of municipal water and wastewater utility system project planning, design, and services during construction.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering.

At least 7+ years of relevant water/wastewater engineering experience.

At least 5+ years of experience at the project manager level.

Iowa Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Technical management of water/wastewater project delivery experience.

Experience with the development and maintenance of close client and staff relationships.

Ability to execute the creative approaches to project delivery.
