Description
We are hiring reliable Food Production Associates to support our seafood processing operation in Milford, MA.
The ideal candidates have prior experience in a restaurant kitchen or food production environment and are comfortable handling raw seafood, including lobster and shellfish.
Important: Candidates must be comfortable working directly with seafood (including shucking shellfish)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Extract meat from lobster, crab, and other shellfish
Pack, portion and label products
Chop and package vegetables
Assist with general kitchen prep tasks
Prepare large batches of dressings and other cold foods
Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
Experience in a restaurant kitchen or food production is preferred
Must have own reliable transportation
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to tolerate cold temperatures for long periods of time
