Job Description
Job duties include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and facility, and delivering product by car to customer doors. Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Training and orientation provided on the job. Essential functions include communication skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, motor coordination, navigational skills, and the ability to work under various conditions.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees to over 90 degrees, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing includes talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include directing activities, performing repetitive tasks, working along and with others, working under stress, meeting strict quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing and compiling data, making judgments and decisions. Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, driving, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching are all part of the job.
