Water Treatment Plant Operator
Our client, a leading organization in water treatment and infrastructure management, is seeking a dedicated Water Treatment Plant Operator to join their team. As a Water Treatment Plant Operator, you will be an integral part of the operations team supporting the maintenance and safety of water treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and operational excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Clinton Township, NJ
What's the Job?
Operate and maintain equipment within a team environment to ensure optimal water treatment processes.
Monitor and inspect equipment, execute maintenance programs, and improve mechanical equipment uptime.
Maintain detailed logs of operations, safety activities, test results, and equipment malfunctions.
Oversee safety protocols, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and guidelines.
Manage inventory, prepare purchase requests, and oversee contractor activities within the water treatment plant.
What's Needed?
Minimum of an N-1 water license issued by the State of New Jersey.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders/scaffolding, and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
