Collections Operations Associate
This position is based at our Northshore location (2077 Town Center Blvd in Knoxville). The deadline to apply for this opportunity is May 6, 2026.
Role: The Collections Operations Associate I is responsible for providing support for the Collections and Recovery teams through research, processing requests/transactions, mail and coordination of department communications.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Coordinates the processing and delivery of all incoming and outgoing physical/electronic department communications.
Processes monetary transactions; including account overrides, checks processing, invoicing, money transfers and general ledger transactions.
Performs account maintenance requests, including account closing, charge-offs and status changes.
Identifies gaps in department processes and procedures, recommends improvements to leadership.
Assists leadership with research requests, special projects the facilitation of department supply and equipment requests, as required.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience: One or more years' experience in an administrative role, preferably in the financial services industry.
Education: A high school diploma or GED, required.
Other skills required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business writing ability.
Excellent time management skills and accustomed to working with deadlines.
