
Senior Technical Engineer

Join a high-impact security engineering team as a hands‑on Senior Technical Engineer specializing in Privileged Access Management (PAM). We are seeking a CyberArk expert with strong real‑world experience in regulated environments who can contribute immediately and operate with minimal ramp‑up.
Location:
Remote (preference for candidates local to Buffalo, NY for occasional onsite collaboration)
Duration:
12 months
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize enterprise‑scale CyberArk PAM solutions
Engineer privileged access and secrets management across hybrid/cloud environments
Integrate security platforms into DevOps pipelines (automation, CI/CD, IaC)
Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure technical solutions
Lead testing efforts (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure high‑quality delivery
Establish and enforce PAM standards, policies, and best practices
Mentor junior engineers and support technical leadership initiatives
Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and risk management standards
Required Skills & Experience
Expert‑level hands‑on CyberArk experience (CDE strongly preferred)
Deep expertise in Privileged Access & Secrets Management
Strong DevOps and automation experience for security platforms
Background in financial services or highly regulated environments
Enterprise infrastructure and cloud security engineering experience
Ability to work independently and contribute immediately
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
12+ years of experience in infrastructure/security engineering
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
Experience with large‑scale, complex enterprise environments
