About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead CyberArk PAM Information Security Engineer within the Information and Cyber Security organization to drive the expansion and advancement of the Credential Management Engineering space. This role will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly complex credential and secrets management solutions across large-scale enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM), security architecture, automation, and incident response, while partnering closely with cross-functional technology teams to ensure systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with enterprise security standards. This position requires strong leadership, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and hands-on experience delivering secure, scalable solutions that protect critical infrastructure, enable 24/7 banking access, and support Wells Fargo's commitment to operational excellence and customer trust.

In this role, you will:
Lead computer security incident response activities for highly complex events
Provide security consulting on large projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards
Design, document, test, maintain, and partner with peer teams to deploy solutions for highly complex security solutions related to credential management
Review and correlate security logs utilizing SEIM solutions
Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity
Leads the evaluation of vendor proposals, new and existing security designs, and emerging security technologies and systems
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including leadership
Provide a level of leadership to teammates for the purpose of achieving target priorities
Capable of working in a fast paced and high demand environment
Serves as a high-level technical security resource on large-scale network and/or systems/applications issues
Required Qualifications, US:
5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years administration experience in working on large, complex CyberArk environments
In depth knowledge of PAM CyberArk tool / CyberArk PAS Vault, DR, CPM, PSM, PVWA, CP, CCP and Remote Access.
5+ years of credential management expertise and advanced management of credential management systems.
5+ years of Windows OS administration experience
5+ years of experience with automating workflows (Powershell, VBScript, Shell, etc.)
Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
3+ years Credential/secrets management experience in a cloud or DevOps environment
Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
Job Expectations
Ability to work a hybrid work schedule - 3 days a week on-site/in office and 2 days a week remote.
