CNC Swiss Machinist

The First Class CNC Swiss Machinist will independently set up, operate, and optimize Swiss-style CNC machines to manufacture high-precision, complex components for aerospace and fluid control applications.
Responsibilities
Setup, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss CNC machinery.
Machine high-complexity precision parts to specification.
Optimize feeds, speeds, tooling, and cycle times.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision tools and CMM/vision systems.
Operate multiple machines as required.
Maintain accurate production records.
Support continuous improvement and assist in training junior machinists.
Essential Skills
5+ years CNC machining experience, preferably Swiss.
Strong blueprint reading and inspection skills.
Experience with precision measuring instruments.
Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Fanuc control experience.
Knowledge of GD&T.
CNC programming or CAM experience (adjusting programs).
Experience using CMM and/or Vision Inspection Systems.
Prior experience assisting with training or mentoring junior machinists.
ERP or production tracking system experience.
Trade school or technical machining education.
Aerospace or high-precision manufacturing background.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $40.00/hr.
