Surface Mount Assembler A
Surface Mount Assembler A completes product assembly. This involves aligning parts, following work instructions, and checking that work meets quality standards.
Responsibilities
Perform work instructions to complete product assembly and in accordance with standard work procedures
Align components and other parts for assembly
Receive parts and sub-assemblies in work area
Deliver material to work in process work centers
Complete pre-assembly work if required
Ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards and procedures
Perform quality checks on assembly parts using written test specifications
Produce and maintain a consistent quality of work while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Support production builds in a high-reliability manufacturing environment
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in area of responsibility.
Experience performing SMT soldering and basic rework in accordance with work instruction
Experience assembling RF products and subassemblies, including RF synthesizer components
Experience completing RF filter assembly following documented procedures
Ability to read and follow RF assembly drawings, schematics, and standard work instruction
Attention to detail required in order to maintain required documentation and traceability in accordance with AS9100D procedures
Ability to follow Aerospace & Defense manufacturing standards, including ESD and workmanship requirements
