Production Worker (Day Shift | Forklift | GMP)

We're hiring experienced Production Workers to join a chemical manufacturing and distribution facility supporting industrial, food manufacturing, and pharmaceutical customers. If you have forklift experience, are comfortable working around chemicals, and value safety, stability, and long-term career growth, this is a strong opportunity.

What You'll Do
You'll play a key role in day-to-day plant operations, safely handling materials and preparing chemical products for shipment in a regulated environment.
Stage finished products for outbound shipment
Operate a sit-down forklift to load/unload materials and trucks
Perform chemical filling (manual filling and tote filling) per production orders
Accurately label containers to meet GMP and regulatory standards
Clean and prep totes (remove old labels, re-label correctly)
Support general production and material handling tasks
Use a tape measure to verify fills or packaging requirements
Follow written and verbal work instructions carefully
Maintain strict safety and PPE compliance at all times
Rotate into dock coverage as needed (extended hours during rotation)
What We're Looking For (Required)
3+ years of production experience, ideally in a GMP-regulated environment
3+ years of sit-down forklift experience (industrial or warehouse)
Experience working with chemicals or regulated materials
Strong attention to detail with labeling and documentation
Comfortable following structured procedures and safety protocols
Ability to work extended shifts when required
Strong reliability and safety-first mindset
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Chemical manufacturing or chemical distribution experience
Experience in industrial, food, or pharmaceutical environments
Familiarity with GMP documentation and labeling standards
Comfort working in environments with chemical odors (e.g., ammonia, chlorine)

Environment is physical and hands-on, but organized and safety-focused
Chemical odors (ammonia/chlorine) may be present
Full PPE provided (face shields, safety glasses, rubber suits, etc.)
Schedule:
1st Shift: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM
3:30 PM
After training: approximately 1 month every 911 months working 8:00 AM
5:30 PM for dock coverage
Must be able to support up to 10-hour days as needed

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
