Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all tooling, tooling components, machining supplies, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the tool room.
Conduct preventive maintenance on tooling in accordance with established die cleaning checklists and procedures.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels of components required for tooling maintenance and repair.
Repair, replace, modify, and enhance tooling based on work order specifications and instructions.
Ensure the tool room and all equipment are kept clean, organized, and in proper working condition.
Accurately document and maintain tooling history and maintenance records.
Inspect and evaluate new or externally repaired tooling using standard checklists to ensure quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
Reliable and detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to quality and workplace safety.
Ability to follow technical instructions and interpret blueprints accurately.
Working knowledge of tool room machinery, equipment, and precision measurement tools.
Strong sense of accountability for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior machining training or hands-on experience in a tool room or similar environment preferred.
Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
