Recreational Vehicle Title Clerk
Responsible for handling all aspects of recreational vehicle title processing across multiple states, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely completion of title-related tasks. Provides superior service in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
Primary Responsibilities / Job Duties:
Manage and process titles for recreational vehicle purchases in multiple states, including paper titles, electronic titles, and lien statements.
File for duplicate titles when needed and resolve title discrepancies.
Work closely with dealerships to ensure titles are properly issued and received in timely manner, with First US Bank listed as lienholder.
Ensure all lien perfections are completed by the dealership and state within required timeframes, and proactively follow up on any missing or delayed filings.
Handle UCC filings, including initial filings, continuations, and terminations.
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, dealerships, and state agencies regarding title status and requirements.
Manage title processes in non-title holding states, where the title is issued directly to the customer and the lienholder receives a lien statement from the state. Responsible for maintaining these records and properly executing lien releases at the time of payoff.
Handle incoming calls to assist dealers, vendors, and customers.
Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, processes, and procedures.
Participates in and complete all required compliance training, including BSA/AML, as well as other internal and external training programs.
Participates in training new teammates as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one year previous Title Clerk experience preferred.
General knowledge and understanding of finance lending.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks within time limits.
Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturday, when needed.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Working Environment / Physical Demands:
Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May require the ability to lift files, bend, reach, walk or maneuver around the bank. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
