a family-owned and operated lumberyard and hardware store located in Austin, MN has an opening for a full-time candidate to join their team working in the lumberyard.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, have a strong work ethic and positive personality.
Duties: Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Loading/unloading lumber and other building materials
Pulling orders and loading customer material
Stocking lumber bins
Strapping loads
Pulling/backing trailers and operating a forklift
Delivery of materials to job site
Ability to operate saws to cut material
Cleaning and organizing the yard as well as other general warehouse duties.
*Candidate is also responsible for maintaining a safe environment at all times.
Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to obtain a DOT health card.
Ability to lift 100lbs.
Ability to operate a forklift and back a trailer is preferred, but willing to train. Knowledge of construction materials preferred.
Must be willing to work outside in varying temperatures and be able to stand/move for long periods of time.
Must be able to problem solve, be able to follow a work schedule and arrive on time.
This position is more than just delivery and does require manual labor
Schedule consists of daytime hours Monday-Saturday
Must be 18 years of age to be eligible.
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
