Job Title: Painter
Powder Coating
Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Painter with powder coating experience to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for preparing and coating metal parts using powder coating techniques to ensure high-quality finish, durability, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with surface preparation, coating application, and maintaining powder coating equipment while following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare metal parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and inspecting surfaces.
Apply powder coating using spray guns and powder coating equipment.
Monitor curing processes to ensure proper coating adhesion and finish quality.
Inspect coated parts to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Maintain and clean painting equipment and work areas.
Follow all safety procedures and proper handling of materials and equipment.
Work collaboratively with fabrication and production teams to meet production goals.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of powder coating or industrial painting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge: Understanding of powder types, curing processes, and coating quality standards.
Skills: Experience using spray guns, powder coating systems, and inspection tools.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Schedule: Monday
Friday, 7:00 AM
3:30 PM with OT Overtime may be required on Saturdays.
Pay range: $20
$23 per hour (DOE)
