School Bus Driver (Part-Time)
NRT Bus, Inc. is seeking a part-time school bus driver in North Reading, MA. No CDL? No problem. We provide paid training. Already a fully licensed CDL Driver (A or B) with P & S endorsements? Earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus (effective March 6, 2026).
Pay & Schedule:
Pay: $29.50-$35/hour
Paid Training: $20/hour
Charter/Activity Trips: $27/hour
Schedule: Part-time, split shift (AM/PM)
Weekdays only
no nights, weekends, or holidays
Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You'll Do:
Safely transport students to and from school and events
Drive assigned local routes
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies
Requirements:
CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain
we train!)
Valid DOT medical cardor able to obtain one
Safe driving record
Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
Ability to pass background check & drug screening
Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)
