Job Description
Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead a
122‑bed Memory Care community , overseeing all nursing operations and staff. This role is critical as the organization looks to implement a
culture change
focused on accountability, quality care, and team cohesion.
The DON will provide full nursing oversight across
CNAs, LPNs, and RNs , ensuring regulatory compliance, resident safety, and high clinical standards. This is a high‑impact leadership role requiring strong judgment, communication, and operational expertise.
You will partner closely with leadership—including the Chief Business Officer,
Sarah —while managing day‑to‑day nursing operations independently.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, coach, and develop
all nursing staff
Oversee clinical care for up to
122 memory care residents
Ensure compliance with
state regulations
and CRSS standards
Conduct routine rounds and audits to maintain quality of care
Oversee
admissions , assessments, and care plan development
Review staffing schedules to maintain proper coverage
Ensure incident reports and investigations are completed within 24 hours
Serve as liaison for resident and family concerns
Maintain administrative nursing documentation and chart audits
Drive accountability related to attendance, performance, and conduct
Support survey preparation and plan of correction processes
Promote a positive, respectful, and mission‑driven culture
