Customer Service Specialist
CalSource,an ATS company, is Upstate New York's premier test equipment and gauge calibration lab, operated by people dedicated to metrology, quality, and integrity.
CalSource is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Customer Service Representative. Reporting to the Calibration Supervisor at CalSource-Rochester, you'll play a vital role in our team. The individual in this role will split time between working at the client site and at the CalSource facility performing customer service duties, collections using our accounts receivable system, or other responsibilities, as needed.
The Customer Service Representative will split the work week between our Syracuse, NY location and a local customer site.
Responsibilities:
Answering phone calls and addressing customer inquiries.
Greeting clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Providing basic administrative assistance for various computer systems used in the calibration laboratory.
Maintaining the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
Responding to customer service calls, emails, and web requests promptly and courteously.
Quoting and scheduling field service/onsite jobs to include the monthly schedule
Performing shipping and receiving duties, as needed
Process calibration documents for technicians
Generating calibration quotes
Other duties and responsibility, as necessary
Minimum Requirements:
2 5 yrs relevant experience with a High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or electronic/mechanical product and/or services support highly desired
Exceptional customer service and phone skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Must be personable and interact comfortably with clients and co-workers
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Efficient with Microsoft office, specifically Excel and Outlook
